WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW! 

This is a recreational program to garner interest in basketball programming for youth in Tuxedo. We choose not to go with a Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association League this year to keep costs down for the first year back with a basketball program with the potential of starting a WMBA team(s) next year!  WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOME DEDICATED VOLUNTEER COACHES! This could be parents, older siblings, teen neighbours/friends, anyone you may know that could help out our Program Coordinator! 

ASSESSMENTS- Note these are not try outs! All children will get to play, however to ensure safe and fair gameplay we will be assessing the children to determine teams. For the most part teams will be based predominantly on number of registrations and age, however we may take skill level into consideration. We ask that your child attend the assessment so they are seeded into the correct teams. Dependant on the number of registrations,  your child may need to play down to skill level if there are not enough children for their age group. This will be determined at assessments and parents notified. At this time if you do not feel comfortable with this or there just is not enough registrations to form a team, you may receive a refund. 

GAMES- As this is a new program games are not guaranteed against other teams, however if there are any it will most likely be during practice times. The Program Coordinator will work on scheduling some games against other teams if possible. Games may be played during in house teams at practices.
