Mini Soccer

Registration Open 
Fall: September 8 - October 15, 2026

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: August 15, 2026

​​Fees: Program fees are $78.00 + tax. 

 

Times: We play 1x / week, at the following times:

  • U5 (2022-2023): Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm

  • U7 (2020-2021): Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

  • U9 (2018-2019): Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm

  • U12 (2015, 2016, 2017): Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm 

 

Dates: Program runs 6 weeks, beginning the week September 8/10, 2026 with the last session on October 13/15, 2026. 

 

What's Included: 

Each session includes ~30 minutes of warm-up/practice (age-appropriate, from Red Light-Green Light to Passing and Shooting Drills), then ~20 minutes of game play. Teams play on Timbits Soccer sized mini fields, using mini nets. To keep the cost of the program accessible, all teams have Volunteer Coaches (parents)!

FEE SUBSIDY PROGRAM

The General Council of Winnipeg Community Centres (GCWCC) - Community Centre Program Registration Fee Subsidy​ is for children of any age and is designed to assist those children/youth who would not otherwise be able to participate in Community Centre activities. This grant is available to Community Centres. The application is available through your Sport Convenor. Help Needed

Did you know this program is run by volunteers? We're parents, with full-time jobs, who have kids that love soccer (and we love having soccer down the street, instead of having to drive across the city)!
